This agreement marks a historic step in promoting the Cameroon destination through the development and enhancement of the tourism potential of the country’s Decentralized Territorial Communities (local councils/governments).
The ceremony, which took place in the presence of members of the Government, deputies, mayors, and senior executives from several administrations, culminates over a year of concerted work.
The objective is to make tourism a major driver of economic development and contribute to the national ambition of welcoming over 3.5 million international visitors by 2035.
